Hello and welcome!
Please join me on my little crusade to rescue and repair the vintage 8-bit computer systems, as well as related retro electronics, that many of us grew up with. I collect unwanted and neglected retro computers and do my best to resuscitate and refurbish them in my own spare time and share my journey through videos on YouTube. I am always appreciative of constructive input from the retro computing community so feel free to rate, share and comment.

For someone who doesn't review meters, you did a pretty good job!

Being a hobbyist this tool would be perfect for trying to repair my electronics. Can be frustrating trying to track down defective components.

This is my first time on this channel, and as soon as I saw the intro I felt comfortable... the 8-bit music and graphics makes me feel at home.... I am a C64 fan....

That 8bit "music" was way too distracting, did my head in! And this is from someone who has had ZX80's, ZX81, ZX spectrum, VIC20, Pet, TI99-4A, STFM, A500, C16, C64,, VIC20, Oh, and a Sinclair QL+ ((with microdrives!). and some I've forgotten.

Interesting and very well done review. You made a very important comment on it NOT being an Oscilloscope. But the wave form mode is useful to see if one is testing inverters to see if they are sign wave or square wave. So it may not be a scope, as you pointed out, but it can still be a useful feature.

Welcome back, and thanks for the great review! Agreed - that the waveform display looks like it's pretty much a gimmick, what with those chunky pixels and all. And I'd be in a nursing home by the time it decides to spit out its measurements of those electronic components. Otherwise it seems like a decent meter. I wonder if some Febreze would take care of that smelly plastic.

Banggood-ness. This meter is suitable for beginner measuring low frequency. Good for beginners as some features are useful for some small projects.

I bought this multimeter only for the waveform display... I use this for showing sinusoidal waveform from the output of amplifiers, but i can't "zoom" the amplitude of the signal for watching clipping in the output... the autoscale is a bad thing...
