Btw I've heard that some people think that link never left termina after the ending of majoras mask but it is clear that link left termina and continued to search for navi, In twilight princess (the next game in the timeline.) the new incarnation of link is trained by a spirit called "the ancient hero" who is confirmed by Nintendo to be the link from ocarina of time and majoras mask. (The last incarnation of link.)

That door is a an interdimensional seal between termina and hyrule (confirmed by nintendo) and its odd that it closed right after link entered termina. It's as if he was destined to leave hyrule and save termina from the evil inside the mask.

Wow the warp entry point was even coded.  It makes you think that in early stages of the game you were able to revisit The Catacombs even after beating them.  I mean after going back through the spiral corridor I expected Link to walk off into space and fall due to going out of bounds at an invalid access point.

I think you could bomb hover over the locked door and get into the loading zone.
