The difference between Bowser and Eggman is that Eggman is a tyrant. Bowser is a leader, and guides into battle.

So the evil Mario you saw is called shadow Mario and was the main antagonist in super Mario sunshine which the guys mentioned earlier. It’s a disguise bowser junior used in just that game while the paintbrush is pretty consistent with his character

The most accurate thing about this death battle is metal sonic getting hit with chance time ONCE and immediately crashing out

So from what I’ve taken from the battle as to why Infinite was so easily beat by a Thwomp, is that the way he was increasing the gravity to crush Bowsers minions, King Boo (who was immune) summoned the thwomp under said high intensity gravity, this possibly actually having the killing power to end infinite.

Actually, you're right about metal sonic being nerfed! He WAS being nerfed- By Kamek! He can copy abilities, sure, but DB expressed that Kamek could stop him from doing that.

A few other Death Battles I'd recommend....

Emerl could have been a massive boon, but a few problems:

The reason Infinite got taken out so easily was because he increased gravity insanely, which only made the Thwomp MORE powerfull. King boo knew that, Also the gravity didnt affect King boo because he's a ghost

Bowser loves his minions and willingly risks his own life to defend them. Eggman however uses them as pawns and happily throws them in harms way to protect himself. That right there is the biggest difference between the two if you ask me.

As awesome as this battle was, this was also heartwarming; Bowser cared about his son (along with his minions) and Bowser Jr. cares about his dad

From what I see infinite being instantly killed makes sense. From what we see what he was doing was making gravity so intense that most normal enemies instantly got crushed. But thwomps are super heavy rocks with sharp spikes, so multiplying gravity made it even more dangerous to be on the receiving end of the strike.

From what I learned no matter the universe, magic is busted. Beings like superman even have trouble with magic.
