It will be interesting to point these rigs at the same time towards a single target and compare their image quality in the same environmental conditions.

I went from sneaker collection to watch collection, don’t know how I ended up in telescope collection

Where I live I just need to drive 40 minutes out to a state forest and I’m into the blue!! 0 light pollution, and what you see with just your eyes is amazing.

My set contains on do-all refractor (William Optics FLT-98 with a cooled DSLR. Another set is for small wide field scopes (William Optics ZW66, William Optics Star-71) with a very light mount and a small DSLR to go. I am going to configure a rig with my F4 Newtonion.

This was so awesome. I'm building a camper trailer and was planning on making sure I had storage for my astrophotography gear. It's time to upgrade. Your primary rig looks perfect for my needs. Your big rig is out of my storage range when I'm off road down a fire trail in the middle of nowhere for a night. Thanks for the concise vid. Keep up the great work!

You make me jealous, Chuck. I bought a new 115mm apo last October, and since then I've had my 80mm sitting in the case, because I don't have an extra mount for it. Someday I'll turn that into a complete second rig like you.

Could you possibly give a approximate breakdown on the cost of each of these rigs?
carloberg8772 (23 hours ago)
Thanks. It's always fun to watch folks get excited talking about their cool stuff, especially when the stuff is actually way cool, as this is. The night sky in Dexter is a little darker I think from where you are and I always thought how fun it would be... but I did a little running total of the cost of youre driveway line up. You know, you could buy a boat for that kind of $.
