i just restarted and i’m a month and a half in. my hair parting is about the same as yours but i only have a high top. i can tell you pretty much only retwist the roots because my hair looks really similar. i didn’t wanna have to deal with thinning locs so ima let them do their own thing instead of palm rolling. they’ll eventually condense when they’re ready
