I love my mini crossbow and I thought it was a toy when I first shot it. With my first shot I found out it was not a toy but very deadly. I shot the foam and straw target and it went through it and my metal shed and 2 boxes full of stuff. This little thing will kill a man, so be careful.

The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. My son and I put it together pretty quickly https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa . Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.

In my humble opinion, I think this is probably the 2nd best weapon you could have for home defense after a firearm! You don't need a license to own on! Their silent! Low maintenance! And the rounds are reusable! I think I'm definitely getting this one because I'm getting an apartment soon so me being my lonesome I figured it would be better to have this as my go to for bumps in the night instead of any of my knives or the baseball bat I have that I use right now. :-D

I have one of these and made solid copper bolt and super glued duck feathers . The increase in power and destruction compared to the standard issue bolts is immense.

I agree with you. I have two of them and definitely think they could be of some use if you are on a budget and you have this as a backup in a survival situation. They definitely have the power and accuracy to take down a rabbit or squirrel. Technically it's a toy for grown ups, yes, but it's better than having nothing.

Nice vid. I bought one of these this week and fired it up today and since it's silent I practiced in my home (I locked the cat in the bedroom, of course.) Seems to be pretty powerful and accurate for a weapon that only costs a few dozen dollars.

I have watched some other reviews of this crossbow. In one, the owner said he waxed the bowstring, but it is fraying where the two 90 degree metal pieces grab the string when cocking. In another, the owner made a magazine, which attaches on top of this crossbow, and you can stack, either 6 or 7 bolts, plus the one in the channel. He fires, then just cocks the string, and the next bolt goes into battery all it's own. Pretty cool idea. He had thought about making them and selling them, but decided not to.

Chris, you are always informative, rarely biased, and as a prepper and fellow Ohioan, I respect your opinions. I have two of a similar model (80-lb, direct pull-no lever), and I love that they fit in a pack and can be carried with a ton of ammo, or you can make your own easily, with less weight than almost any gun and a supply of ammo. I need to practice a bit more to zero in my sites. Two-pistol cross-bows, 2 extra bows, 6 extra strings, a cake of bow-string wax, and 72 poly arrows = >$150! You can't beat it! An excellent survival, small-game hunting tool (if you practice!)
