In terms of the end being bulky well yes filings imperative, if you are very careful when placing the nail on the stand so it's level from the side you can check it will help prevent this, but more importantly is to be careful when painting in the mail itself so you don't find yourself tilting it downward direction the whole time. Because of where we painted nails in general from the cuticle to the tip that's usually the same way we paint them on the stand and without realizing it we tend to do it in a way that we would be doing it in the nail salon, in other words the tip tilted downwards which means that even if you're going to cure it the Polish is going to pull towards the bottom or whatever and you have pointed downward before you can even cure it.. so try to keep it level to help alleviate some of this cooling and build up
