Bro Cole’s scaring me…

While Andrew Francis sounds nothing like Kirby Morrow, I still feel that he did a pretty good job with the transition into this character, and I’m surprised that I don’t mind this change as much as I thought I would. Kudos to you, Mr. Francis, I appreciate your hard work!

Andrew Francis is doing a pretty good job voicing Cole

The 99% most of us watched these shorts for is Cole.

I think if the pitch was higher it would sound exactly like Kirby Morrow’s but it was a great job done by Andrew Francis it really does sound like Cole with a deeper voice and can easily be played off by saying Cole had a training injury; or at the beginning when sensi Wu knocks over Cole.

It's not perfect, but he's doing the best that he can. I think he sounds pretty good.

Andrew did a great job and I believe the more he voices Cole he will sound more like him. Kirby would be so proud

Reading these comments, there seems to be a mixed reception. Personally, I think Andrew does a pretty good job on sounding like Kirby.

I am so happy that the Ninjago team decided to honor Kirby by chosing a friend who knows the Ninjago story, and cast as is. (It's also helpful to know that Kirby and Andrew have worked on a lot of projects together BESIDES Ninjago!) I could say 'Andrew is nothing like Kirby bla bla bla' but all and all I am so happy they made the decision to recast, and the voice fits the "new" Cole design. I mean we could have had an episode where Cole decides to go mute, or even got killed off. I like the new Cole, I love the decision, and I feel like the community will totally understand....i hope.
