Disney made it very clear that we are not their target audience anymore. The changes to: DAS, rides, upkeep, etc and paying much more and getting so much less. Who would go back? We've moved on to other vacations!

"the price goes up but the value goes down"...that is exactly my experience on the last visit. No more from me until that changes.

Universal is about to eat Disney's lunch. The Nostalgia Disney could always count on is dying every day (literally and figuratively), and they keep making every wrong move possible to accelerate their slide into irrelevance.

You mean to say that your average guest DOES notice the dip in quality after all as opposed to “They’re tourists, what do they know?”

Disney: a family entertainment company that no longer makes family entertainment.

I found out I could take my family to Europe and spend less money than going to Disneyworld. So I did that.

I'm pretty sure that the present-day version of the parks is NOT quite what Walt Disney envisioned.

My family and I were in Florida July 2024, the price for a one day park pass for 4 adults was $720.00 ($180.00 per ticket). This was just to walk into the park, no parking fee, no food, no beverages, no fast passes, etc., etc…….

if you must go to a Disney park, go to Disney Tokyo. Affordable, Still family friendly, 100% awesome. 1 difference i thought was great is that when they have the castle fireworks show EVERYONE sits down. Not only does everyone get to actually see the show, you get off of your feet for a good while.

Reservations need to go, annual price increases need to go, classic rides being rethemed need to stop, devoting an entire barren land to a trilogy that no one wanted need to be reworked, and insane premium prices for "fast pass" need to go or be gutted. To name a few.

The Disney Parks have abandoned families. Families are just returning the favor.

Years ago I took my whole family to Florida for vacation. We spent 3 days at Disney World and two at Universal Studios. When I scrolled through all my pics after the vacation I realized 90% of them were from Universal because we had so much more fun. The lines seemed shorter and the value was much better.

Epcot was at it's best back in the 1980's. But now that all the dark rides have been changed or demolished, the park is a soul-less shell of it's
