I love this part, it's just you walking to a bridge, no trainers, no encounters just a mere apreciation of the capabilities the DS could do. I miss this too.

This was the game for me that gave me a sense of scale for how big the city and bridge were

This really made B&W feel special

God I love the limited 3d they use for this game. It's so charming

This blew my mind as a kid

There's really something about the graphics of Gen 5 that makes it the most aesthetic Pokémon game they ever released. It's even better than today's Gen. 9.

What's really amazing is that this was on the original ds. Not even 3ds

The Skyarrow Bridge was the moment Black and White clicked for me. I was already enjoying the new, dynamic sprite work and had a passive interest in the writing, but this right here... this is the moment in my eyes, that the game went from good to great.

They even had leaves fall and weather changes on the routes when a new season hits. Was cool af

One thing I realised by watching this, life needs background soundtracks

This is why B&W remain my favourite mainline Pokémon games to this day. They just had soo much charm and the camera angles dynamically changing like this gave it soo much memorability that the newer games kinda lack in my opinion.

Replaying bw and this bridge STILL makes me feel like I did walking through it as a teenager

I’m blessed to have been a kid living thru this being able to experience diamond , soul silver , black/white , Pokémon explorers of sky , Pokémon conquest, collosuem, gales of darkness . Those games hit different are gems . Todays kids will never understand the Moment you load these games up on your DS ready to tackle the next gym

This is still imo the most realistic that Pokemon cities and routes have been. XY has that power plant that is never going to be accessible, Sun and Moon have the golf course, Galar has literally half of the cities just as background scenery and Paldea doesn't even have anything. At all

That was my first Pokemon game. I love it to death, and this is one of the moments that stuck out the most to me. Love the music that plays on the bridge as well
