Woke up to a LARGE crack of thunder at 2:30 am. Spent the rest of the morning looking at the light show. I really enjoy these kind of storms, but feel bad for the people that were left stranded on the streets on top of their cars. They're calling for another storm tonight. Hopefully mother nature is kinder this time

Hail means the storm reached severe limits with strong updafts; sometimes tornadoes are immenent.

You know what is disgraceful is that Environment Canada didn't issue a severe thunderstorm warning until 3:20 am. It began hailing/raining heavily at 3:05 am, if this was a tornado, people would be dead.
