I lived on a mountain 40 miles north of Los Angeles about 1700 feet, and 40 miles from the ocean. In the empty field above the homes, were dozens of conch shells, some enormous in size. Obviously, that mountain had been under water at some point.

It is the same in art history. I found an error in our local university museum, which I reported to my supervisor professor. He agreed, but said we would have to wait until the emeritus professor who origiinally labeled the item died before we could change it.

In the fall of '19 I bow hunted just south of Prudhoe Bay, AK, along the Alaskan pipeline where I ran into a maintenance worker doing his pipeline checks. Quite an interesting discussion I had with him. He has seen core drills from a mile in depth that contained bull frogs and palm leaves. That talk was one of the highlights of the trip

I grew up on the hill right above dry falls and have studied about it... maybe that's why I appreciate Mr Rogan's reaction to the cataclysm because all my life i have seen the evidence with my eyes about how massive the scale of what nature can do.
