Description
A Northeastern GA railfan who travels a lot. That sums up this channel very well, in my opinion, and hopefully you will know this to when you watch my videos. This channel will have lots of variety in multiple things. Chases, paces, steam engines, scenic shots, the whole shebang. I always enjoy a good railfanning adventure, not just because of trains, but because of the memories. And when you click on this channel, I hope we can share the memories together as we see new places, meet new friends, and foam for all types of trains. Welcome to NSTrainFanYT!

I wonder if these people who were "stuck" on the track wherever taught not to put their hand over an open flame. There's a reason commercial truck drivers never stop on tracks.! Or at least they're taught not to! There's a town in northern California called Burlingame! Very wealthy! Very wealthy yet not too smart! There's a train track at the bottom of the hill that has to be crossed to get to the freeway. Runs from south to North or North to south. Usually services Caltrain etc. The sheriff's department spends ungodly hours clearing that track and writing tickets. You should see all the tesla's, mercedes, BMWs etc sitting on the tracks waiting to be crushed by the train. Amazing!

Thanks for posting this. I am a conductor for a class 1 railroad. I've seen this so many times, including foamers. Never sit on tracks at anytime and always expect a fast moving train to be coming through. I hate to say this but sometimes the signals don't work. I know people don't want to sit waiting for a train, but it's better then getting hit. And to foamers who film too close, and we all know some who do it, it's okay not to be up close, that's what the zoom lense is for. Let's be safe to get home to our loved ones, go home the say way you left.

I feel for the train crews, having to deal with the level of stress and fears put on them by those circumstances.

The local government needs to review the traffic pattern and activate the RRX arms - lucky that train was moving slow and that the curve from which it was traveling wasn’t so much of a blind curve.

That’s why there are signs that say do not stop on tracks.

Here's a way to solve this nonsense. Start ramming the cars, and sue the drivers for damage to the train, the equipment, and the cost of the delays.

If there's a traffic light nearby causing this to happen something needs to be addressed immediately

If you don’t stop on the railroad tracks then you won’t have this problem in the first place. Duh. But this makes no sense for many people.

In addition to the cars on the tracks there was also a driver at 0:33 who darted right in front of them at the further crossing.

Train didn't look like it was moving too fast but those people on the tracks should have never been on them

If I work for Norfolk southern as the conductor and saw multiple cars in front of us I would slam the train into emergency and call the dispatcher
