That star is huge in the East Texas sky's.

Thank goodness someone else that finally sees what I have been photographing and recording for several months. Everyone looks at me like I am crazy when I say that is not a star or a planet. I have some creepy but amazing shots of it.

I looked for Venus. Setup instrument, aligned it, and there's a bright thing exactly where Venus is supposed to be. Guess what? It's Venus. Try focusing. Or even a Kmart telescope.

Can Venus be seen after sunrise?

I have seen the same thing in Colorado and Utah

I take my dogs into the front yard every night to pee before we go to bed. On Saturday 21st Jan what I assume was Venus looked okay. Went out on Sunday 2nd Jan, looked into the West like the previous night and WFT. Looked brighter but also elongated a little. I took a photo and definitely elongated. Was there a convergence of Venus and another planet/star on Sunday that I am not aware of??? Wasn't able to check it out last night as it was overcast. I am in Melbourne Australia.
