Hendrix never died. Earth was just part of his tour.

Bob Dylan himself said it after 1st hearing Jimi perform "All Along The Watchtower" - "It's Jimi's song now". Humble guy.

Hendrix took Dylan's profound lyrics and turned them into a timeless anthem of escape and hope, an electrifying testament to the power of music. This song continues to resonate with every generation searching for their way out. Rest in peace, Jimi, and thank you for sharing your gift with the world.

Not many people know it, but Jimi Hendrix was perfectionist when it comes to this song. Studio people tried to rush him (because time and tape were both expensive) but story has it that he had over 50 takes on this song with just the guitar parts to make it absolutely perfect, the way he wanted it to be in his mind. Safe to say, you can hear it. Absolute perfection in every possible way.
