Saturn with a $600 camera is totally amazing. I have this camera and have been very impressed with its versatility on Earth but this takes things to a whole new level. This has been a pretty good job to maintain image due to magnification and distance. I think the P900 is an excellent family travel camera.

It's incredible how you can see Saturn from a camera. Let alone a telescope!

When Galileo turned his telescope on it - the first man ever to do so - he described Saturn as 'having ears'. At 02:00 you can see why.

Who could possibly dislike this? Do these people have any inkling as to the distance between Earth & Saturn? This man has taken the time & effort to show us something spectacular & people throw dislikes at it? Would they prefer CGI,is that it? Maybe reality doesn't look real enough to them.Anyone who thumbed this down is a special kind of clod.

I just got a P900 a couple days ago. I've shot Jupiter and Saturn tonight and last night. I don't have the focus and exposure figured out yet, so I'm a long way from what's here, but I'll get there!

One thing I always wanted to do my whole life is to time lapse other planets and watch their moons orbit. And this camera is the best approach in my opinion <3

The fact you can make out the rings with a camera is amazing. For those that don't understand how cool this is, the closest distance between us and saturn is about 750 million miles, or 8 times the distance between us and the sun.
