for anyone struggling to stick the piece of silicone tape onto your mouse, you need to put packing tape (he showed it in the vid when he put on the silicone grip tape) and then put your silicone grip tape because it only sticks to certain surfaces

Every tape is for every friction style. I prefer scotch tape as it's perfect for people with sweaty hands. If your hands don't sweat than masking tape is the best and if your hands sweat slightly electrical tape is the best for it and yeah it's basically it
