I guess it depends on where you keep it too and if you handle it a lot. So many things to take in consideration I think. Also the industrial dishwasher probably had more contribution to the overall wear. Most mugs etc stain unless we clean them properly. I would notify Redbubble of that, so if it is their product then they can fix the problem.
