I have the v1 clone and to my surprise the handle gap is still just the same as when I got it brand new. Its pinless on bearings, crazy to think it hasn't gotten handle slap, maybe I just got lucky.

Today do you recommend it or do you recommend another balisong for the same price range?

It’s not amazing, Julian’s knives are custom done and are literally the definition of perfection, no one should even try cloneing his stuff because nothing will even come close. You pay for what you get, the amount of time and quality him and Jospeh put into each monarch they made is above Chris Reeve level, and that’s saying something. Clones are a big enough issue in itself but they don’t need to be stealing money from a small grail maker it’s just not right. Forget clones save up and get the real deal. Support the true artist’s of this masterpiece pinsless design.
