It's ashamed that cities don't do their jobs and keep the sidewalks maintained. That is part of their job. Awesome job trying to maintained your neighborhood. Be careful out there.

Great job Brother, Next time put out a few traffic cones and maybe wear a safety vest. You can get that stuff cheap at like Harbor freight or Home depot or whatever. I would hate to see you get hit by a car not paying attention to you working there!
