you need to check your Tire pressure and setup your suspension. the way the bike handles isn't because of the size of the engine per se . it's pushing back because it's not set up right.

Fucktonne is an SI unit, roughly equivalent to 10 Shitteloads.

Do you keep your tire pressure up? A low tire will make it turn like shit.

"Dr. Scholls for your ass." That's hilarious!

yeah. The bike does requrie more steering input when you corner hard and fast. If you're going too fast, you'll find that the bike isn't responding as much to counter steer when going at high speeds. i've usually corrected my angle with the rear brake if I need to slow down and make the bike easier to turn. otherwise if you want to attack, you put more of your weight into the push and be mindful of your throttle.

gah love 1000cc, miss my 1000rr fo sho! Riding position def changes everything, 1000rr compared to my Z1000 completely different!

Thanks for the tip about turning on a 1000 vs a 600, you may have just saved my life...

2:28 I wonder what the cars at the light think you're doing when you get off your bike and just poke the seat lol.

When I first rode my GSXR 600 I noticed the steering felt really "heavy" and understand the "push back" feeling you are describing. I think it might have something to do with Suzuki's coming stock with steering dampers , but I'm not sure. I'm not sure if R6's have steering dampers, or if your's has one. But yeah, just my input :D

To answer your question Red One. You have to hang off a little more and keeping pushing thru the turn. As said in some previous replies 1000cc bike tend to stand up in the corners. I have tested this myself on purpose by just tapping my front brake or letting off the throttle a little too much. I have a 08 CBR1K and it feels like a CBR600rr (size wise).

My two complaints with R6's, they also apply to the R1: not nearly enough brake bite on initial grab, and ergonomics. The brakes feel like wooden blocks when compared to most other bikes, and I'm never good for riding them longer than 20 minutes with those ergonomics.

you have to manhandle the liter bikes a bit more... because the torque curve is more available in all power bands. but the rear tyre is creating a strong forward momentum wanting to straighten the bike up more. so liter bikes need more technical and muscle input. that's why it's never good idea to start on them or even 600 for some.
