A cool thing about the Bowblade is that the transformed mode's R1 and R2 attacks do NOT lower durability, thus if you only plan on using it in transformed mode the "Weapon Durability Down" curse will have no effect (do however keep in mind that attacking with the transformed mode's L2 attack and/ or doing visceral attacks with the Bowblade equipped will still lower the durability).
