The sound quality is extraordinary as is the ever great Argerich. Every technical difficulty completely mastered. Her sheer stamina.

First came upon Martha playing the Ravel in the 60's. As then and now, a magical performance and deceptively so rendered when one views the score!

This audience was treated TO ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE MUSICAL EXPERIENCES EVER! PERIOD! And so all of us lucky folks viewing the performance on YOU TUBE now!!! Long live PROKOFIEV and MARTHA ARGERICH!!!!!!!!!!

Argerich's passionate performance and Dutoit's brilliant conducting supporting it are very pleasant. It's also fun to see her mumbling at the break of the music.

️ This is by far the BEST performance of this concerto, NO ONE else even comes close. I’ve heard this piece countless times and usually, especially in the coda of the 3rd movt., you see the pianist’s hands moving frantically, but you can’t hear them at all. They’re playing the right notes, but their sound is just too thin to penetrate the full orchestra. In this case, if anything, the reverse is true. Brilliant in every sense of the word. The ensemble was off a couple of times (mostly caused by Argerich’s unrelenting speed), but they got back together in short order. To me it made it even more exciting!

Argerich is on fire here!

This is great. Dutoit's voice blends with the fullness of his performance. There was a point in the second movement where the orchestra and the piano didn't match, but the way they managed it was nothing short of masterful. Argerich's performance of the Dunamik, the volume, and the sense of speed without stagnation is a performance that no one else can imitate.

"Argerich" is another term for "perfect/awesome"!
