They're two different guitars, they both have their own unique sound which allows you to work with different styles or genres.

daniel rivera if you play the piano you can play the guitar. It's basically the guts of a piano on board technically. I hopped on one at Sam Ash Music and was able to "look" like a pro. Struming all fresh and rhthmically to a beat like Lauryn Hill. Don't own one and it was my first time. Saw someones finger placement and realized what they were doing.

Because there's more to a guitar sound than getting a recording of a note. The fret squeaks, string buzz, overtones, sympathetic resonance, imperfections in playing, true legato sounds, etc... While the timbre of the sample may sound like a real guitar, the entire package still doesn't quite get there. It's a step forward, but not there yet.

I've also downloaded and installed Realguitar 3 but i am getting "guitars not found" showing everytime. I can't get access to realguitar 3 library. I had realguitar 1.5 then i upgraded to 3.sounds comes in 1.5 but not in 3? what n how to do? What are realstrat n realLPC? are they good? If you have solutions please tell me.

Check out Amplesound's acoustic guitars like the Taylor, Martin, and Alhambra Luthier. They're the closest to a real guitar on the market. I own two of the plugins. They're incredible, but I doubt any will "replace" all guitarists. There are some things you can't do on keyboard.

I do have a electric-acoustic guitar myself and I made many songs with these vsti's so I know this stuff.. Actually one of the reasons I chose to buy guitar instead of say Piano or Violin (I use those too in productions) is because this is the one instrument that is extremely hard to replicate on these vst's even with mixing and velocity, fx simply isn't worth it in many cases. The guitars will get reproduced sometime but I do hope I die before the nightmare of technology replacing composers...
