I love Aidan OβConnell as our Raiders quarterback. For a rookie he did outstanding job and grew and is developing at a good pace. Every rookie quarterback is going to have up and downs and Aidan has so much poise. He will be okay, Go Raiders.

For anyone thinking the Raiders should trade up for a QB, here's some history. Approximately half of all SB winning QB's were drafted in the first round. That means the other half were not. One was undrafted, Kurt Warner. One was drafted 199, Tom Brady. One in the 3rd, Joe Montana. That's 12 out of 57. The number of Heisman Trophy winners in the HOF are 10. Only one is a QB, Roger Staubach. Fun fact, three are Raiders. My point is, taking a QB in the first round is an expensive gamble. The team needs help at OL and DT.

I like Aiden and I think with Getsy helping him improve his pocket awareness, navigation and foot work, AOC is going to shut up his naysayers. As for the draft, I think we should use the 13th pick on an O-lineman and grab Jordan Travis in the second or 3rd round. This will give AOC some competition and help him grow even more.

As a student of the game, you'll! With a full off-season of voluntary and mandatory sessions, OTA'S, and training camp, AOC will be better prepared mentally as well as physically for what await him in the upcoming 2024 season. He's not afraid of competition. Competition is always good for anyone who has a strong desire to be successful in his field of expertise. I will say this w/o hesitation. Once he grasps the offensive system of L. Getzy, and puts it on display. He's going to be a problem for other teams, especially the AFC West Division.

I think no matter which way the raiders go be it drafting a qb or signing 1, O'Connell ends up the raiders qb. I could be wrong but i think its going to be a situation where the guy gets the opportunity and doesn't look back. Like purdy or brady. When his time comes he aint giving it back.

Im all in with AOC. He needs to work on mobility. But he's smart, works hard and has a damn good arm. ...we'll see what happens with the draft, but like AP said, he's a fighter, so no matter who they bring in, im rooting for him for the QB fight

Coach AP has confidence in Aiden OC, I think we should listen to the man. AOC showed improvement & confidence as the season went on. Some have a fantasy of having some flashy QB for the Raiders β¦ but ask yourself was Jim Plunket flashy? Did he run the ball a lot? If you ask me AOC is a lot like Plunket β¦ show up for work and get the job done. Just Win Baby! The Raider way, not the fantasy football way. οΈοΈοΈ
