I got mine for ten cents(flash sale). I just unboxed and washed first load. Socks came out white and others got cleaned. I'm staying in an RV right now. I'm happy with it so far. Took 2.5 weeks to get and once my card was charged the whole 10 cents it has not been charged and more.

I was fortunate to get the mini washer for $4.59. You access the handle from the back rim of the machine.

Don't think you should put it on without water burn out motor. Don't worry about handle.
