I discovered acrylic paint pouring while on leave from my job as a Registered Nurse in April of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. My anxiety had reached its peak while working the front lines at our local hospital. See video 003 for details https://youtu.be/RBGI_QkUwMU
I started watching a lot of YouTube videos and decided to give it a try to see if it would help my anxiety. Sure enough, I fell in love and discovered it was great therapy and soooo much fun!

Reminds me of marblizing paper. Similar techniques are used with the inks floating on the water surface. Nice effect with the pour.

There are so many tools to use in fluid art, and I use a wide tooth comb, which creates the same patterns. I agree that it's important to experiment, plus that's where the learning happens. I'm not a blue lover, but this technique is super satisfying to watch, and I like the result.
