This channel is about the everyday life of Jeremy Hintz . Focusing on gardening, fishing, boating, and everything around the home. Grew up farming near the small town of Norfolk, Nebraska but now live in a suburban area near downtown Omaha, Nebraska. How I grew up and the lifestyle I led is something i seek out and want to find as i get older. My goal is to bring it back and to bring you folks along to experience it. But then again just remember though our state moto " Nebraska....its not for everyone".

That is called a “swing bridge”. We have a few of them on the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers in Minnesota. Used to be more of them, they were a popular way to allow barge and stream boats to pass in the river and still allow rail crossings. Some of them even had automobile lanes too.

I grew up along the river at Florance we swam in the river and swam across it many many time ,side stroke and let the current take you to the other side ,crazy i know but we were having a ball.
