I was in the Great Alaska earthquake in 1964 . I was just walking to the movies and all of a sudden found myself in the roaring noise and violently shaking of a 9.2 earthquake for 5 minutes. The power of the earth was incredible and I have never forgotten it .

In truth, we can die at any given moment. Which is why it's so important to live with this thought, rattling around in the back of your mind, everyday. It definitely effects your perspective on everything from day, to day occurences, to how we deal with the problems we face. It will teach us to be more patient with one another, for one. As well, we learn not to take the "small" things for granted. I've come to learn that there are no small things in life. All things add up to the sum of not only your life, but our existence as a whole.

I really appreciate how you neither fully back the original book nor completely dismiss it all as BS. Way too many people these days think that because they "debunked" one thing, that an entire publication is false. The truth is very often in the middle.

Thank you for another amazing episode! Something that I always watch for is the creativity that not only goes in Hecklefish and his comments, but how you create a miniature version of each story in the background in Hecklefish's fishbowl. Great idea putting the Easter Island statue for this one! My favorite YouTube channel ever!
