It's bad when your messed up family is ok with something like this, but it's even worse when the person you love goes along with it. I love when he confronts them and the shocked look on their faces. "We're just doing what's best for the baby." No! You're doing what you think is best for your favorite child. "Jake, I never wanted to hurt you." Shut up! You knew what you were doing. You knew how Jake's family favored his brother over him and yet you slept with and had an affair with him anyway. And I agree. Did any of them think what was best for Jake? Especially his ex-wife and parents? Then dared to say we're still family, after what they did. All the lies and betrayal. Really? Did they really think Jake would be ok with all this? They destroyed their own family. They don't deserve anything. No forgiveness. No nothing. He did the right thing by cutting ties and getting away from that messed up family. Now, Jake has a fresh start. A start where he can live his life without sick messed-up people. Ava seems like a nice girl. I hope they don't rush things and things work out for them.

Jake didn't deserve such betrayal from his parents Ryan and Emily he deserves to be happy with someone like Ava as a fresh start

I am honestly not surprised that Jack decided to leave his toxic family even his cheating ex wife Emily they totally deserve what they have done. Now he has Eva someone that does really love him makes it so much better for him.

Like they say trust is a weakness but it hurts more when your family and lover betray you

Despite her antagonistic role, I like Emily's character's design. I hope that a character similar to her by appearance bt with slight different to distinguish them from one another will appeared as a female protagonist next time. Also, Jake and Ava deserved each other!
