Hey guys, Ambience here!
You most likely know me as the creator of FNaF Academy, a series of over 100 walkthrough videos dedicated to breaking down the challenging mechanics of Five Nights at Freddy's; the modern juggernaut of horror games. While the guides aren't perfect, they are a good starting point for understanding FNaF's complex gameplay.
You may have also seen me credited in popular videos about FNaF's "max mode" community. I'm not exactly sure how I earned that reputation, but I'm proud to have helped bring some awareness to an underrated niche.
Most recently, I've started making video essay and analysis content about FNaF and possibly other media in the future, mainly focused on viewing gameplay loops as a science and sizing up their quality.

Fun Fact: Ultimate Custom Night was originally FFPS's custom night, meaning the hardest and easiest max modes were one in the same in early stages of development

The only official fnaf modes I’ve beaten are 4/20 and 50/20. 4/20 is extremely easy, and then 50/20 is probably the maddest I’ve ever been playing a max mode. I ended up beating max modes on fan games which are HARDER than it because I didn’t want to play it that much. It is worth beating 50/20 though because it is a massive flex to say “I beat 50/20”

Despite being such a big Fnaf fan and having watched dozens upon hundreds of hours worth of strategies, learning how the AI works in each game, and runs of every games/fangames hardest modes I’ve never committed to beating the hardest modes in the main Fnaf games.

As someone who loves FNaF3, seeing you open maintenance and accidentally miss-click and reboot the thing that did not need it gives me a secondhand feeling of 'oh crap'. Happened to me way too many times when I was learning that game, especially on the Night 4 difficulty spike. Even if one is really good at the game, it's still such an easy mistake to make, especially when you're going fast.

I honestly think FNAF 2 is perfectly designed for how well it does one thing: create chaos. It’s built to be as hard and chaotic as possible.

It would be fascinating to see a ranking of every night/challenge/mode in every FNaF game (all 5 base nights, bonus nights, custom night presets/challenges, sub-modes, etc.) while factoring in every possible argument

Glad to see you posting again. The night guides work really well, especially fnaf 2. Though the amount of times I tried to beat night 6 and 7 on 10/20 shouldn't even be that high.
