Grew up in the hood, where everyone around was into rap and soul music! My brother was a rare breed! He was listening to this, a fan of Andy Gibbs, The Police, Phil Colins, Billy Idol! He exposed me and my mom to other great music that was out there and not known of within our Black community during the 80's!

Hehe, so 80s. The main synth sound, analog lo-fi snare , the sweet cheesy guitar distortion... Everything is just right.
