You probably fixed the problem by now but that sound your motors are making is from the flight controller. The new motors are causing vibrations in the flight controller which will make your motors sound like they are miss firing if you wll. You will have to either soft mount your motors or soft mount the flight controller. Note that soft mounting your flight controller is only good if you fly in acro. This will also cause your motors to heat up. This happened to me on my fist 2 builds solved the issue by soft mounting flight controller. Instead of bolting the flight controller down, use some 3m 2 way tape (sticky foam) and that will more than likely fix your issue. Hope this helps.

having same issue, i havnet had to soft mount anything on any cyclone or other props. I was pretty excited for these, but man they drain power like nothing. LIke less than half the battery life.

Same here, Not pulling more than 40 amps total and flight time/quality is severely reduced... used high c packs and they are drained in about 2 min. Not flying aggressive, this is a brand new build. Have you had any success?

Did you find out why they got hot, i run the RS2300S on 5s and they stay cool, just got some 2306 2750 motors and they get hot :s

How are your PIDs?? Maybe flash + calibrate your ESC's

i am also using the emax rs2306 2750kv on a 180mm 4" setup it flies good i mean no weird noise or anything but the motors do get hot here have a look it looks like its flying ok from what i can see i just cant figure out why they get hot

Hey what did you change your motot timing to, medium or high? I'm having the same issue, hearbreaking on a new build, switched out FC but no good. Going to try this screw loosening idea of yours.
