Bodyguard is a show that everyone needs to watch, you like drama... bodyguard. you like cop shows...bodyguard. you like romance...bodyguard. you like action...bodyguard. It has everything. The writing is brilliant, the first 25 minutes of episode one, now that was intense. Each episode has you wanting more, you can't stop until you have watched everything. Richard Madden, brilliant. David Budd the character he plays, he was so broken after her death like he tried to kill himself. I felt awful for him like i wanted to reach through the screen and tell him don't do it.

Richard Madden delivered an incredible performance. You could feel his emotions and tension tearing him apart. He never over acted, it was subtle and honest which moved you.

Honestly, this came up on my recommended and this was one of the more surprising things to come up. I'll tell you why, because this should have appeared on my recommends sooner. It's an absolute masterpiece. You have obviously seen the inner meaning of what Bodyguard reflects in the big world. A man who returns home from the conflict and when he becomes the bodyguard to Julia Montague and has to deal with if not more traumatic events which awaken his state as someone who was scarred by the war. Honestly it's one of my favourite series, the acting is spot on. The action reflects just how brave these men and women have to be when they are protecting a very important political figure. I sure as hell could never see myself do it but I respect those who do it. What's more this was absolutely amazing and so glad that I listened to it.
