Pretty impressive how the nose of that EMD ACC was able to withstand the major impact with the road milling machine it collided with at or below 60 MPH

That's why I now stand a good ways back from the rails--in case I have to run! Once watched a derailment in progress on CSX in Vinings, GA--train stopped amazingly fast. Truck on the ties which sheared off at the crossing where I was waiting. Good catch on the drama!
