Hi People, I had the dreaded 3 white dot's for months. Spent many hours trawling deep into the internet for a solution, tried many suggestions, drivers updates, factory resets, you name it, nothing worked. Turns out it was my antivirus conflicting with whatever that was the problem. To try this option, first create an account with your antivirus provider so you can reload easily if required. Then go to your control panel and uninstall your antivirus. Try your link cable again, hopefully it works. If so, change your antivirus provider, if not simply log in to reload your original. You would have thought the techies would be onto this but it seems not.

Life saver! I spent 4 hours and was about to give up. I wouldn't have even thought to deal with this. It had been annoying for months on the flip end and breaking constantly so that was a two for one. I honestly don't understand why companies decide to mix and match on boards and dedicated like that. It makes things stupidly complicated. I can't use my HDMI out if I want to use my Nvidia GPU. I have to use a USB c passthrough, it's ridiculous.

I have been trying to get oculus link to work for like 2 weeks now and I have asked my brother (the tech guy of our house) to help and he could not figure it out unfortunately, I was about to give up but I did not want to so I searched up what to do on YouTube, used tons of different methods, but none worked. At first I was hesitant to follow this tutorial because of the downloading something but I saw that it was an official website so I tried it out, now I am the tech person of the family :)

Dude THANK YOU!!!! had this problem a while back and eventually went back to windows 10. Once I heard windows 10 was being discontinued I looked all over for a solution to this problem, truly a life savor.
