I know the title and the radio sounds are the focal point, but something about the magma symbol on the screen glitching just really puts the icing on the cake for me. I fits all too well.

Honestly I wish Heavy Rain was as creepy as Drought is, like imagine trying to reach for that gasp of air while hoping you reach the surface your lungs fill with water while all you see now is debris and rumble being carried away by the waves of Kyogre. I’m not saying the Drought situation isn’t creepy because it sure as hell is, I just wish Heavy Rain had that same vibe.

This theme is overall unsettling, and that's what makes it good. It makes you realize the real threat about what's going on in both games in Gen 3. Both Kyogre and Groudon could make everyone perish.

"Please, respond!" they cried out.

Magma Grunt:

'Team Magma please respond' the sentence repeats over and over again on the radio, Ruby failed them and because of Team Magma this world is gone, humanity is extinct......

This would be great if pokemon was a psychological horror!

This is great. People forget these days that the pokemon franchise was far from designed for cuteness and appeal. You do NOT want to live in that world

Pokemon idea: alternate reality where groudon successfully plunges the Pokemon world into an eternal drought. The ocean have been reduced to lakes. Pokemon have adapted to life in the harsh Sun. Grass, water and ice types have all become very rare. Many Pokemon have adapted by gaining fire rock, or ground, or have retreated underground. Everyone has gone mad or scared each day could be their last...
