Gotta feel bad for the raimiverse Norman. Haunted and tormented by the Goblin, losing control of himself when the goblin takes over like in the 2002 movie. To think that could have been avoided if he listened to the lab assistant the goblin killed back in the 2002 movie

I feel like Michael Giacchino plays it way too safe when it comes to using certain musical cues from previous films in a franchise film. Like this would have been perfect for this scene, or something like Harry discovering the Goblin liar in Spider-man 2 after seeing his father in the mirror. And the fact that we don't hear the Goblin and Doc Ock themes in their full glory. Which I get it, you probably don't want to pay a fee to use certain themes. But, that doesn't stop other composers from doing so. And what harm is it going to do if you ask permission? Or consult the original composers for that matter.
