As a 3rd. gen Nebraskan who has been on tractors in the wicked dead of winter....I know how miserable Morrissey had to be during filming that sequence. He struggled with either that gear shifter or accelerator stick for a moment because it froze THAT quickly from when the director turned it over to him to drive off in it. Remember who grows your food please, folks. It is damn hard work.

Morrissey is also re-staging photos that famed photographer Dennis Stock shot of James Dean, from his book "James Dean, Icon."

This guy always makes me feel goosebumps with his songs... How come is he such a great artist and I might never get the chance to see him performing live?... It simply breaks my heart...

In the 1940s, James Dean lived with an aunt and uncle, Ortense and Marcus Winslow on a farm north of Fairmount/Indiana

The sequence where Jimmy Dean's ghostly face appears at the end always makes me cry. This is a love song written by Morrissey but through the eyes of James Dean.

All my love to Morrissey. And I love how the non-(native)-English-speaking parts of the world love him too. His message IS universal.

I honestly think the ghost of James Dean is irritated by Morrisey visiting his hometown of Indiana. He is dead now, wants to be left alone. Morrisey is having a dialogue with him and the James Dean is just wondering I have been dead for yonks and your obsessing over me.

I love Morrisey live, a real artist. He never missed a beat in Tucson Arizona in a theatre that was like 135 degrees inside in the summer. He sweat thru a lace tuxedo shirt- & didn't complain, didn't mention it- just had total class
