Welcome to my channel!
I'm Fraser, and I'm a (mostly) solo cruiser based in the UK. 2023 was SUCH an exciting year for me, as I spent most of the year (from March onwards) cruise ship hopping around the world while on sabbatical from the Corporate world - I'd LOVE to take you with me!
I'm not loyal to any cruise line yet, so my eyes are open to everything that this fascinating industry has got to offer!

I love listening to you speak! Your tips are very helpful. I have taken 50 cruises so far. I am never too experienced to think that I can’t learn something new. Keep doing what you do.

photo tip. we always take a photo of tv with the map of where the ship is ported first thing in the morning so you know exactly where you were for all the photos you take that day. on a long cruise you can forget where you were just by looking at the photo.

I always use sanitizing wipes for remote, switches, door handles etc. good tips even for seasoned travelers!!

After the unpacking and the muster drill, I go to the Lido deck. I get a good window seat, or go to the bow and get a drink. I love watching the ship departing from the port.

For communication with cabin attendant beyond the basics, I highly recommend bringing a small pad of bright colored sticky notes. Then you can easily leave notes for them by sticking them on a mirror or wall in a prominent spot.

One of the first things I do in an hotel room is check out the fire drill instructions and memorize where the fire exits are near the room and then I check out everything in the room , then I make myself a mug of tea while waiting for my luggage .
