So fun- I love just playing. That is the best way to learn. I did my first painting ever at age 59. It was a sunset with fabulous clouds. So now I am obsessed with clouds.

This is an amazing tutorial... I love cloud's, but I think I just don't have the confidence to sit down and practice, I always want things to be perfect, but like you said if it's not perfect the 1st time it's okay... Try again... Also seascapes I love to master that...

For pallet I use a thin cutting board then wash it with a sponge when done. The paint stains the wood nicely and I use the same color placement of warm and cool colors according to the color wheel every time I paint.
