These games really captured what a horrible tragedy the Great War was. You're not just experiencing a civil war, you're witnessing an incredibly ancient and vibrant civilization completely tear itself apart.

I think making Decepticons start of as a oppressed slave cast is a really good concept. Because unlike how this trope is usually used, it’s not meant to make you question who’s in the right here. No,it’s meant to make you even more disgusted by the Decepticons because of how they managed to become this much worse than the people who oppressed them.

What didn't help the WoC/FoC toys was that this was during the era where Hasbro was starting to cut corners to reduce costs. This meant thinner plastic. It made all the figures feel lighter and flimsy

I like to attribute Optimus' redesign, and added bulk/armor, as something that happens after he gets the Matrix and enough time hadn't past after the core section in War for it to change him.

I have only recently realized, that if we tweak Zeta Prime's helmet just a bit, it becomes Galvatron's helmet.

I love how they nailed Megatron’s (and everyone’s) personality in this game. He straight up lies in his own records about Optimus accepting primehood, even when it is apparent without a doubt, that Optimus never wanted that. Megatron’s pride is so hurt in that moment, that he lies to himself to feel better.

This game, and Star wars force unleashed both showed the height of what a game could be. After this graphics became the center of everything, but the graohics in these games were clean..just a little blurry but with so much presence and elements like the lightings, dark energon, lightsabers, space, and fascinating technology, it all made it fit perfectly. I think Transformers Dark of the moon also did similar and had a great game of course with those iconic Bay verse transformer designs.

I'm gonna be honest I prefer WFC over FOC. War just felt more colorful and almost mythological. To go from super colorful stylized cities and the depths of the very world to drab ruins. I love both games tho, to me I honestly believe them to be the best general representation of Transformers as a whole. Throughout WFC it never lets up on the COOL. The games are cool above all else and I love that. I truly wish to the stars we get an uncompromised remaster of these games or even just the ability to play them on modern devices. Seriously one of my favorite visual aspects is how for each cybertronian body their parts move around and gives a movement similar to breathing yet is somehow cool. Oh and the ability to play as your companion partners and have different abilities. This was a game made for FUN. Yet is the most immersive Transformers experience out there.

I loved the fact that Earth was in the center of FOC, it's shockwave's portal destination, a place he already went to where he found dinosaurs, a prehistoric earth shown to Cliffjumper in the map room, and that glimpse of hope behind that portal, the destination we as players know they will reach, the place where everything will be settled, but they, as characters, don't know about it yet.
