I thought the first book is good, then the second one blew the first one out of the water like there's no tomorrow. Then the third one again, brought everything to a whole new level. Just wait, it's worth it.

finding the hard drives in the boat was explained, they were able to find the hard drives and even fix the cut up ones due to the nano blade's perfect shear cut, making it easy for information repair. shear cuts does not take away any material from the object.

And this book just won the Hugo Award YESTERDAY !!!

I just finised the trilogy a couple days ago. They are overall the best science fiction novels I have ever read, surpassing Dune, the Foundation, and stories of Philip K Dicks’ sotires

Nice review! I've read all three volumes of this trilogy in Chinese. And I'm very glad to see that readers from English-speaking countries share the same excitement as we do. Only one comment. There is no logic flaws in the plot when people use nanowires to cut Ivans' ship. All the nanowires are placed above the water level. So only the upper deck gets cut. So the ship wouldn't sink. And there are three times of telecommunications between the Earth and Three-body world. All the rest information is transmitted via quantum entanglement of the pair of protons sent by three-body world.

I think that “the book is ok” is a little bit awful review... especially for that particular one. The whole trilogy is masterpiece

After having read the second and third book in Chinese, I realized that the eyeball part, which I also found weird reading the first book, foreshadows a fundamental idea in the third book.

I just finished "The dark forest" and I can't wait to read the 3rd book! These two ships that managed to escape the solar system and are aiming for other solar systems keep this story interesting.

I need this book.. reviews are anything shy of magnificent read. Is it true this is only 1 book in a series?

They sliced the ship in the narrow canal, the canal is very only a few meters wider than the cargo ship. Once sliced, most the steel just fall to the left/right of the bank.

The nano fiber across the boat was meant to be the only proper way to get the hard drive, even if it was destroyed by the fibers they could just find it, put it back together and use it.

The Black Forest in the third book of Three Body will shock all of you ! trust me!
