Guys nothing gonna happen by this tricks we all should at least give a feedback to YouTube to disable YouTube shorts or give us like option to do something because we are running our whole life and especially if we are a student so it is like a poison to US and I am really facing it because I have to study from YouTube but I am here to take lecture but I watch youtube shorts

There’s no such option to disable it. But I wanted to give you an advice, if you find it hard to get rid of yt shorts then do this : Don't click on them for at least a week and then the algorithm will gradually start to stop recommending you. stay strong

YT Shorts are maddening. Most methods don’t work with any permanence- including this one. The one method I found that does work permanently is to go into your YT account and turn off YT history, and clear watch history. YT then has no way to recommend Shorts. You effectively hobble the algorithm that makes these recommendations for your feed.

Bro i hate it so much this is the exact reason i deleted all my socials but I kept YouTube because it's different. But the fact that they made it like every other social media, causing ne brain rot, procrastination, and feeling like I wasted all my time, it pisses me off..
