Snake is attacted to a cat since it is a warm animal and snake wish to get some heat from it. Snakes likes warm areas and thus it is rubbing against the cat.

The snake isn't trying to strangle the cat! Its not wrapping around the neck to kill it! Its wrapping around the head because it feels naturual. The cats head is round like a rock or a hide! The neck sits in from the ball of the head so it feels like a tight crevis! Balls like tight spaces! This isn't I'm gonna eat you kitty kitty! Its eeewwew that feels sooo good & naturual...

This is hilarious cuz my snake and my girlfriends cat are the same way! Granted we found out by accident. She was caring for the snake at her house, as well as her cat (admittedly, they were EXTREMELY curious about each other while the snake was in her tank). One day she was handling the snake on the bed, and the cat jumped up on the bed while my snake was exploring the bed as well. For a week, every now and then, they would just chill on the bed and hang out for about half an hour

My jack Russell and ball python are pretty much the same way. My dog will be resting or sleeping, and my snake has to be all nosy. They seem to enjoy each other's company though

nice!! But why would anybody think that snakes are mean?? Of course they can be dangerous in the wild like many animals, but animals are never "mean". thats a human attribute. Snakes are just animals and they do whats normal for them. I'm afraid of spiders and i hate them. But I still dont think they are "mean";) Your snake is beautiful btw.

i had a friend who had a ball python and two pitbulls, one pitbull liked the snake so much he licked the snake's back NON STOP everytime the snake went out of his vivarium, so much so that we needed to keep the dog back because he wouldn't leave the snake alone, poor thing

I always hear "horror stories" about people who have snakes and the snakes eat their children or kill their pets....Yes snakes and animals all have an instinct. With that said, animal souls are pure and don't know any better, in fact I tend to think animals are more transcended then humans. If animals can love each other and put aside things...humans have things to learn from them.

What a beautiful cat and a heartwarming scene of friendship sadly these beautiful animals are understood I'm sorry she had a bad life before but I'm glad she has found a lovely owner like you to give her a second chance in life :)
