I am a good friend of the director. I acted in this film. He has said he will release the full version without commentary if this short reaches 100M views.

If so many of you hate "this kind of film," why do you keep searching on the Internet to find them? Are you that messed up in the head that you go out of your way to watch gay or lesbian films, and then criticize them? Nobody is forcing you to watch them.

Unbelievable the number of people who don't get this.

i think what some people arent understanding is that the commentary is part of the film. its a short film about the director, writer and lead actress doing the dvd commentary for the film. there is no actual film 'True' that they are commenting on.

so theres no real movie ? I'm a little confused

I don't understand. Is the film a real film, and this commentary a real commentary? Is the drama in the commentary not contrived? This is very strange and confusing.

Now I know why people dislike it so much.... You should have said "COMMENTARY"
