I'm not a "filmmaker", but I live and work in Georgia as a props person and Armorer on a lot of the big shows here. I can say confidentiality that nobody in the industry respects YouTube or new media on the level they should.

Honestly VGHS was a guilty pleasure. Only element missing was the MOBA scene like League players. But it was actually fun and corny but in a good way lol. And it was decently shot, and the cast was likable.

You had a major series go from Youtube to Netflix, but Hollywood doesnt want to work with you? Then dont work with Hollywood, work with Netflix. Work with Hulu. Work with HBO. People need to get away from this "it has to be on the big screen to matter" ideal.
