Who Killed Captain Alex is absolutely glorious. Very low budget, but very high passion. When you buy a copy (at least at the time I did) they sent along a bit of low budget "swag" items, like pieces of paper rubber stamped with their logo. That was entertaining all by itself.

I think we can all agree that “Who Killed Captain Alex?” is what cinema is all about. Just a bunch of people who care genuinely about film. They deserve every bit of fame they have, despite all the memeing

The guys at Ramon Films in Uganda are some of the most passionate filmmakers I’ve ever seen. When I purchased a couple of shirts and a a DVD copy of Who Killed Captain Alex, they autographed it, sent a stack of stickers and small posters, and drew a picture that they personalized with my name stating that I, in fact, killed Captain Alex. They really care about what they make. Plus, my shirts were hand screen painted in Uganda using house paint. And they’ve held up better than most of my shirts.

Fun fact: "Who Killed Captain Alex?" Was planned to be only released on the director's village, turned out the movie gained lots of attention from other countries

Who Killed Captain Alex is a movie made with Love. And nothing else. There is no money or experience or skill going in it, and it shows. It is just pure, raw, love for filmmaking. And that is okay. That is enough. And that makes me happy.

The day the clown cried honestly sounds like an incredible movie. Like it has such a haunting twisted premise that just by hearing the synopsis I feel would be an interesting take on the Holocaust.

Getting bitten by a lion HURTS? Didn’t see that coming. It’s so brave of her to let us all in on the secret.

I love that in 'Who Killed Captain Alex' we have no idea who killed Captain Alex; but not in a David Lynch or David Fincher kind of way. Instead, he just forgot to write a part where that piece of plot critical information was addressed.

38:15 the fact that this film was made before the cast and crew were even born makes it a pretty impressive film already

Worth noting that the only main actor who did not get hurt by the animals during "Roar" was Kenyan actor Kyalo Mativo, who refused to play with and get close to the lions when they weren't actively filming. Basically the smartest dude on set.

I like that you don't totally judge some of the weirder movies but explain them well enough tthat interested people could find and see them.

"I'll kill you all in sequel" is the funniest line I've heard in ages
