Napoleon Escapes for the Second Time, from Saint Helena ~ to reclaim Europe! That would be such a badass fiction film. . .if anyone actually had the balls to do it today.

Sorry, I don't like this as much as the others. I can't tell whether this is Elba or St Helena (although my money is on St Helena). The voiceover is overly dramatized and makes him sounds like an ideologue, Josephine sounds nothing like what records tell us Josephine was like (sweet and pliant and very gentle), and the one thing she'd never do is accuse Napoleon of tearing apart the family. Dude had 6 brothers and sisters and he did everything to bring them up support them, raise them and carve kingdoms out for them. If anything it was his sister Caroline or his brother Joseph and Jerome who were the selfish ones. And let's not forget that Napoleon was a very loving stepdad to Josephine's children, given the time period, and he loved them as his own kids even after his divorce. So tearing apart the family (assuming the voiceover is referring to the divorce) is a bit of an unfair assessment.

C'est impossible de résumer la vie de Napoléon en 2 heures, il faudrait une trilogie.
