I don't think the boss ever got a turn when I played. Instant cast no aftercast spells were busted to absolute shit in 2.

I specced fie into 100%+ evasion and gave her scent to turn her into an evasion tank. She breaks the game if you use her defensively, pulling all the aggro allowing my other characters to do whatever.

If in doubt, just abuse tomato hotpot + mobeus + chrono burst. Works every time.

It took me longer to defeat the Vermilion Knight than Loa Erebonius 2.0, but I never saw that attack, probably because I carry mirror characters like Crow and Vita and they are broken
